OLD LINE TIMBERFRAMES supplies new frames in oak, pine, hemlock, douglas fir and other species as available. We work with green, dry, and reclaimed timbers. Our Timberframes can be delivered to you planed, bandsawn, circle sawn and upon occasion hand hewn. The timbers are delivered to our shop from the sawmill and we do all of the authentic mortise and tenon joinery. The pieces are trial fitted to insure a proper fit. Before arrival at the site, the timbers are pre-drilled for pegs, oiled and lightly planed if desired. Once on your site, we pre-assemble the bents and raise your frame with a crane. Depending upon the site and complexity of the frame, the actual raising usually takes 1 to 4 days. We can provide assistance beyond this stage if need be or we can raise your frame and be away quickly so the general contractor of your choice may proceed. Our frames may serve as homes, barns, additions etc. We are prepared to provide a frame for your boathouse, garden room, workshop, garage or even your retail space. The uses for our frames are limitless. If you already have timberframe plans, we are able to help you make them a reality. There are many people, however, with great ideas that need the assistance of a knowledgeable builder to bring them to fruition.
