At T.Lake, we love getting our hands dirty. We understand that transforming spaces, be it a small garden or expansive urban landscape, never really happens hunched over a drawing board. While that’s still an important part of the process, it’s the building and planting, the digging and transforming that, in the end, indicates what a project can – and will – become. For us, environmental design means addressing a space’s history, surroundings and the ways people will engage and interact with it. That doesn’t happen in an office. It can’t be plotted and drawn.
