TKB Group was started in 2015 as a "second career" to serve nonprofits and faith-based organizations, building upon Todd's many contributions on the development staff at Grand Valley State University. We work with organizations principally as consultants and writers, either by working with your development strategy or enriching it, then identifying and preparing grant proposals to public, private, and company funders as one leg of your fundraising platform. To enhance your portfolio of donor communications, we offer assessments and new ideas, and implement them through web or print in order to engage and steward your donors. As a grantwriter and consultant focused on engaging donors in support of the clients mission, principal Todd Buchta applies 25 years of fundraising and communications experience from higher education and the nonprofit sector. Clients have included universities, social service agencies, faith-based organizations, and business incubators. Todd leverages strategic and tactical knowledge from the 15 capital campaigns he has helped to succeed, as well as from his long experience in cultivating major donors. In addition to grant proposals, he produces everything from annual appeals and campaign brochures to donor profiles, stewardship pieces and general features for newsletters, websites, and email marketing.
