Tiny Hills, Inc. DBA Little Hills Information

Tiny Hills, Inc. is a U.S. nonprofit organization that is working to advance specialized pediatric care in Rwanda. Collectively, "Little Hills" is a collaboration of three entities that work together to achieve its goals: Little Hills Sweden (a Swedish nonprofit association), Little Hills Rwanda (a Rwandan NGO), and Tiny Hills, Inc. DBA Little Hills (a US nonprofit organization). Rwanda is a rapidly developing country, with a population dominated by children. With only one pediatrician for every 70,000 children and Rwandan children dying from preventable causes, the next leap forward in Rwandan health care requires more pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists as well as strong technological development and a dedicated place to provide the care. Little Hills is using a three-pronged approach to advance Rwandan pediatric care: 1) using volunteer specialists to train Rwandan healthcare workers; 2) establish the first dedicated children’s hospital in Rwanda; and 3) establish a national diagnostic laboratory.
