Tintplus has provided a window tinting service to the public since 1994. In 2005 Tintplus decided that car tint customers were not well served by Tintplus or by other tint shops located in industrial areas where customers were often stranded with nothing to do. It entered into a strategic alliance with Sparkles Car Care to offer customers a window tinting service at five major shopping centers in Brisbane and suburbs. However, Sparkles Car Care experienced financial difficulties and the shopping centre tinting service had to be stopped. Tintplus still provides a mobile "we come to you" tinting service.
