Timocco is a 7 year old international company that has successfully commercialized an educational/therapeutic online gaming platform in Europe. Timocco opened US operations in Akron Ohio in 2015. Based on patented technology that integrates the student’s hand movements with 60+ on-screen games, Timocco helps thousands of children worldwide develop motor, cognitive and communication skills via a cutting edge gaming environment. In addition, Timocco offers a handwriting tool using similar technology. Customers include school districts, private occupational/physical/speech therapists, hospitals and parents. Growing with Timocco is an interactive, motion based computer game for children with difficulties in motor control and cognitive skills, used in clinics, schools and at home. As part of occupational therapy or physiotherapy, adapted to each special need, motor and cognitive skills improve in a fun, safe and non-violent gaming environment. Each game focuses on specific abilities, and enables the user to select between levels of difficulty. The games can be adopted to the child’s specific needs.
