The Tiburon External Research Project, or TERP, is a private investment educational initiative, geared to make the academically trained prospective investment professional, 'street ready'. TERP is presently offered exclusively via The Yale University School of Management ("Yale SOM") via select student groups (Investment Management, Impact Investing). Historically, via TERP, we have also developed an algorithmic basis for identifying, narrowing and probability-weighting returns from plausible event-driven investment prospects. Further, we’ve delved deeper into certain more nuanced ways of gleaning value and perhaps, hastening catalysts. Such work may also, in some instances, be available under license or consultive contract to outside parties. TERP programs are a 'gateway', assisting students cross the chasm from academics to become more formidable employment candidates and productive and successful investment professionals in: 1) traditional asset management, and 2) Impact Investing. TERP programs and syllabus, can be further customized by scholastic institution or investment firm need. Please contact us if you are interested as a participant in TERP or, if you are an investing institution or university, wondering if TERP would be suitable and effective for you, your students or team. Sample TERP syllabus for either the asset management or impact investing programs are available upon request.
