Thürmer invented and patented the squere die and founded the company Thürmer & Co. Erick Thürmer is the great-grandson of Fritz. Chr. Thürmer and is the fourth generation in the family’s thread-cutting business. He is the founder of Thürmer Tools . Erick Thürmer established the company with a view to rethinking the business model and securing the continued production of high quality threads.
