Founded in 1993 as part of the National Guard Youth Challenge Program, Thunderbird is a 22-week tuition-free military program for struggling Oklahoma students. Using the structure and discipline of the military, students will attend high school classes, GED classes, and even college classes (for qualified students) as well as learn job skills and life coping skills. The goal of Thunderbird Challenge Program is to provide Cadets the foundation for the future they want and deserve.
