Thunder Contracting, Inc. (formerly Thunder Disaster Services) more than a Disaster Recovery Company. We are a North Carolina based highway and utility contractor. Our range of services includes clearing and grubbing, commercial and residential site work, heavy/highway projects, underground utilities, demolition, environmental related projects and extensive storm debris removal operations. We acquire our contracts through the competitive bidding process, as well as private negotiations. The company, along with its staff, takes extreme pride in their ability to complete each project, regardless of size, with efficiency and professionalism. The organizational structure of Thunder starts with Phil J. Ferguson Jr. as President and Operations Manager, Camala J. Ferguson as Secretary-Treasurer and Office Manager. From there we have a staff of highly qualified superintendents, managers, clerical staff, equipment operators, drivers, and ground personnel. Our compilation of staff brings years of experience along with a strong sense of responsibility and dedication to this company. In addition, the large number of qualified subcontractors from across the nation affiliated with Thunder Contracting enables us to respond quickly and efficiently. Our broad range of heavy equipment is well maintained through the utilization of a structured maintenance and replacement policy which ensures that each project is completed with new or updated equipment and operated by experienced personnel.
