Thrive Acquisition Corporation is a blank check company incorporated for the purpose of effecting a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization, or similar business combination with one or more businesses or entities (our "initial business combination"). Our objective is to identify and acquire a high quality, high growth business in the global health and wellness industry, although we reserve the right to pursue an initial business combination target in any sector, industry, or geographic location. More specific sectors in our targeted industry include, but are not limited to: • Branded food, beverage, and consumer products in the better-for-you or sustainability-focused market sectors. Examples of businesses in this sector include producers, marketers and distributors of organic food products; plant-based meat and seafood alternatives; plant-based milk and cheese; functional foods and nutritional supplements; low-calorie ready-to-drink beverages; and consumer products in the “clean label” category, which refers to foods or products that lack artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, or harmful chemicals and generally have shorter ingredient lists. • Companies supporting the consumer shift towards health and wellness through innovative platforms or technologies. Examples of businesses in this sector include direct-to-consumer retailers of organic products, e-commerce marketplaces for health and wellness products, web-connected health and fitness equipment and apps, B2B platforms for the better-for-you food supply chain, and developers of technologies for more sustainable agriculture. At this time, we have not selected any specific business combination target and we have not, nor has anyone on our behalf, engaged in any substantive discussions, directly or indirectly, with any business combination target with respect to an initial business combination with us.
