Thread Together Information

Thread Together is a registered Australian charity connecting people experiencing hardship with brand-new clothing, with dignity, choice and care. We partner with fashion brands and retailers across Australia to receive new clothing and redistribute it to people who need it most, including women and children escaping domestic and family violence, people experiencing homelessness, refugees and asylum seekers, First Nations communities, people impacted by disaster, and individuals facing financial or personal crisis. Our service is delivered through a national network of charity and community partners, mobile wardrobe vehicles, clothing hubs, online ordering for caseworkers, and wardrobes placed directly inside women’s shelters. This ensures people can access the clothing they need in a way that feels respectful, practical and empowering. Powered by volunteers, Thread Together helps transform excess new clothing into confidence, dignity and opportunity for thousands of people across Australia.
