Thought Matter is the winner of the 2026 National Design Award for Communication Design from Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. We believe in design as a force for connection, collaboration, and challenging the status quo — a force that inspires people to engage, reflect, and act. We partner with consumer and founder-led brands, cultural institutions, and advocacy organizations, and engage in studio-initiated civic work to help ideas move from intention to impact.
