Thorntek Electrical is a Sydney electrical contractor and Level 2 Accredited Service Provider, founded in 2013. Thorntek serves residential, commercial, and industrial sites across Sydney metro, the Hawkesbury, and the Blue Mountains. Accreditation with both Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy means Thorntek can deliver projects end to end, from network connection through to energised supply, with the network application, retail metering paperwork, install, testing, and certification handled in-house by one contractor. Two pillars of work: Electrical Projects: commercial fit-outs, council, park, sports and public lighting projects, industrial electrical, strata electrical, residential electrical, lighting design and installation, preventative maintenance, emergency lighting changeover and relocation. Level 2 ASP: residential and commercial switchboard upgrades, three-phase service upgrades, consumer mains and submains, point of attachment work, overhead and underground service connections, pillar and pit work, retailer whole-current metering, site enabling. All work is designed, installed, and certified to AS/NZS 3000 (the Wiring Rules) and the Service and Installation Rules of NSW. Eighty percent of work comes from repeat clients: homeowners, builders, project managers, facility managers, strata managers, council buyers, and commercial owners.
