WHY WE EXIST (In the words of Thomas Pollock, THINQ’s Founder) I believe SMBs are the heart and soul of our country, but they’re in trouble. Everything they touch, no matter how big or small, directly impacts their local communities. Over the last 10 years small business failure-rates have continued to grow, and now close to 1 in 2 businesses close their doors in the face of heated markets and Big Business pressure. If this trend continues our smaller businesses will continue to die off, and our local communities will closely follow. I wanted to build something that can reverse this trend. The thing that kept butting me in the face, was the 20 years knowledge and experience I had in unlocking Government revenue streams. Even one small piece of Government business – be it a contract, grant, tender, BaU, panel supplier, whatever – can reimagine a small business overnight. From here it was far from simple, but THINQ Learning was born. By helping SMB’s find and open Government revenue streams, every single win is a big shot in the arm for not just the SMB, but also for their local communities.
