Thinkr Information

Thinkr allows users to explore contentious science topics in a new way. A topic like ‘origin of life’ is presented as set of rival positions, each of which is supported by evidence. The range of rival positions presented on the site represent the full diversity of opinion on each topic. For each topic, users can subscribe to one or more positions using a scale that goes from 1 (strongly disagree) to 10 (strongly agree). The more topics a user explores, the richer and more valuable their ‘position profile’ becomes. Thinkr provides the content and tools to allow users to progressively create and evolve a rich, finely detailed profile that contains their positions on the hardest and most fascinating topics in science – as well as the supporting arguments for each one.
