MPT has a longstanding commitment to education. Creating and sharing educational programs and services for Marylanders is central to our mission, whether it is online, in the classroom, in the community, or at home. Thinkport was originally developed through a partnership with the Johns Hopkins Center for Technology in Education under a U.S. Department of Education Star Schools Grant and launched in 2003. In the years since, as advances in technology soared, MPT produced a rich collection of innovative digital learning experiences proven to actively engage students in building knowledge and skills. We take pride in continually pushing the digital envelope to make learning obtainable, equitable and fun.
