Nearly half of college students lack the courage to say what they think. And half of college graduates lack the ability to think clearly and reliably. Our programs are built on a simple insight: civil discourse depends on how people think before they speak. Rather than tell students what to think when they disagree, we help students build foundational habits of mind for clear, accurate thinking and engaging the merits of different perspectives when disagreements arise.
