Think Capital is dedicated to supporting the success of entrepreneurs and businesses. Raising money is hard, but so is properly deploying money post raise. Every stage of the entrepreneur's journey takes building trust, planning, discipline and proper execution. As the founder of Think Capital, Miranda Lam is frequently the trusted confidant of leading CEO's from her hometown of Vancouver and across North America. Miranda began her career with the CPA, CA designation over 10 years ago, ultimately leading her to start her own businesses. Miranda is the founder and CEO of Think Capital, a Vancouver-based consultancy focused on helping companies create their brand identity, raise money and scale their businesses. She also currently serves as the Director of Business Development at First Coin Capital and is co-founder of Dojo Technology Corp (a financial literacy app that is licensed to banks and credit unions). With her deep knowledge of how to build businesses, manage teams and projects, she first co-founded Dojo, a platform that helps make Financial institutions active partners in financial education. On behalf of Dojo, Miranda won the 2017 Women in Payments Audience Choice award in Toronto this past Fall. Miranda was previously the Director of Finance at Hootsuite Media Inc. where she raised over $225 Million USD. Prior to Hootsuite, she served in management roles at PwC with experience across audit, corporate tax and M&A. Starting Dojo encouraged Miranda to embed herself within North American fintech communities, which eventually led her to delve into the captivating world of blockchain and crypto, of which she is an enthusiast! Miranda’s entrepreneurship continues, using her understanding of how to start a business from scratch, to found Think Capital. After years of working with entrepreneurs, investors and navigating the capital fundraising landscape in Canada and the U.S., Miranda created Think Capital to help her clients raise, deploy and nurture capital.
