We are a non-profit, nationwide association in Germany, open to members of all cultures, genders, and generations, as well as all academic disciplines and doctoral programs. Members of THESIS e.V. meet locally, regionally, and internationally, in person or virtually. They benefit from exchanging experiences about their current challenges and successes, and organizing joint cultural and sporting activities. Thanks to our long-standing and proven collaborations with universities, foundations, publishers, job boards, consultants, trainers, and other service providers, our members receive active support in all phases of their doctoral studies. The affordable events on career planning, organizing the doctoral process, writing dissertations, and health promotion, along with inexpensive editing and publication services, enable our members not only to successfully complete their doctorates but also to broaden their academic horizons and develop personally. Furthermore, we support the interests of incoming researchers in advocating for better working conditions within the context of professional policy debates. THESIS e.V. is also active internationally as a member of EURODOC, the European doctoral student association.
