THESA is an AI-powered research mentorship platform for pre-university students to increase critical thinking and ethical AI usage in academia. We pair learners with mentors from top universities, supported by our AI Bot, which provides Socratic feedback on writing and promotes first-principles thinking. The AI bot handles first-pass knowledge and real-time writing feedback while mentors focus on deeper analysis, accountability, and helping students find their voice in a homogenised AI world. The mentor and the AI interact to make research-based learning accessible, to help students write a tangible academic paper, and, more importantly, build better thinking frameworks.
