In 1999, Joe Marsala founded Thermal Form & Function to develop and create new thermal management technologies, just as supercomputers were beginning to hit their thermal ceiling. The performance and efficiency of our technology would far exceed available approaches. We pioneered the use of two-phase, refrigerant-based heat exchangers for cooling electronics. From day one, TF&F has worked with bleeding-edge customers to exceed the cooling challenges of the fastest computer processors and the most reliable servers in the world. Over the last decade, we've seen the demand for our technology skyrocket. Laptops, smart phones, and tablets depend on “the cloud” (i.e., server equipment in large data centers). The capabilities of enterprise-class and supercomputers continue to grow exponentially. At Thermal Form & Function, we will continue to revolutionize the digital cooling industry and redefine what is thermally possible.
