The Work Lab is an employer-collaborative 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping people build the lives they want—supported by their work. We partner with businesses to invest in relational infrastructure: in-person WorkLife Coaches embedded in workplaces. Coaches help employees set goals, navigate challenges, and access resources—often financial or deeply personal—that otherwise keep them from being fully present at work. The problem: Modern benefits are bloated with portals and point solutions but thin on trust. Employees don’t need another app; they need a person. Employers gain stability, engagement, and performance by investing in what matters most: their people. What we do: On-site WorkLife Coaching & Resource Navigation Employee Assistance Funds Data & insights connecting personal and workplace challenges to business outcomes Our model: Employer-led: built with businesses Employer-funded: rooted in shared investment Employer-accountable: measured by impact
