Education Empowers. Nations that are in charge of global innovations and trade, are the nations which prepared their generations through Education. Children are our future and for any long term positive social change to happen, educating the less fortunate section, is our mission! No child should be deprived of education due to monetary needs as well as lack of opportunities. We are a country with 115.5 million poor children. Also, we are the same country where we have zillions of people willing to help in contributing to their future, investing their time, money, resources and most importantly, Nation's Foundation! At The White Pencil Foundation, we believe in narrowing the gap between the less privileged and the ones who aim to come forward in support of these kids. We work towards providing monetary support to the deserving, differently-abled and underprivileged children with unfavorable economic or social background. We intend to provide financial as well as other assistance in the form of distribution of books, uniforms, shoes, school bags, extra coaching in an attempt to not let anything hamper their chance at getting a quality education. We aim to empower children with counselling, vocational training, tapping their inner strengths and talents and create opportunities to help them steer their own lives into personal success stories. We want to be guardians to all the children associated with us and would be invested in them on a one to one level through our Mentor Mentee interaction program. Besides education, we want to address the health, fitness and sanitation needs of the children too. We hope to extend the same care to the elderly, women and also to animals!
