The Watch Prince offers double-flange spring bars for attaching watch bands to watches.Years ago, The Watch Prince began including spring bars with each watch band purchased at no extra charge. It did not take long for many customers to ask if they could purchase additional sets. As a result, we began offering them as "add-on" items on our website. When we converted to our new website last month (May 2011), I decided to leave spring bars off the site. A number of customers have once agained inquired about the availability of spring bars for purchase. Once again, we made them available for purchase on our website. There is a caveat. With the transition to our new website, we increased the minimum order amount to ten dollars ($10.00), excluding the cost for shipping. So, if you are wanting to purchase only one set of spring bars, we are not your source. However, if you want to purchase multiple sets of spring bars, or decide to add a set or two to the purchase of other items, you may now do so at the same $1.50 price we charged previously. Some have asked why we established a $10 minimum oder amount. The cost of shipping supplies, and the labor cost associated with processing an order, made it financially necessary to establish a minimum order size. In the past, we have had a few people call and ask to make an exception, and mail them one set of spring bars via 1st-class mail. The problem with that is....it is an exception. More time is required, with increased labor cost. So, unfortunately, the answer is that we must adhere to the ten-dollar order minimum.
