The Three Stills Company Ltd is the sole owner of The Borders Distillery. The Borders Distillery is the first to bring back the tradition of distilling in the Scottish Borders since 1837. This new distillery is dedicated to making great whisky and to capturing the spirit of the Borders. This part of Scotland has a rich, vibrant and celebrated history; abbeys, towers and castles, battles and ballads, wars of independence, families arriving, families leaving, rivers, undulating hills and rocky coastlines. Our hometown, Hawick, has a famous history of manufacturing, where cashmere is king and where tweed was invented. The distillery is in a landmark building in the centre of town, making us both familiar and new. There is a spirit of industry and enterprise here that inspires us in all that we do. Our brands reflect the spirit of the Borders and our determination to be true to the beauty of the place, the vibrancy of its traditions and the poetry of its people. Clan Fraser is a Scottish clan that has its roots in France, but whose diaspora now spans the world. This unique blend of the finest grain and malt Scotch whiskies is inspired by the ingenuity, determination and pioneering spirit of the Fraser clan. Honeyed and buttery on the nose, with hints of cinnamon & vanilla, combined with notes of raisins & figs, Clan Fraser warm, rounded, slightly sweet and deliciously smooth.
