The Symmetrical Group provides Mergers & Acquisitions advisory services. The firm is comprised of two divisions: Symmetrical Advisory and Symmetrical Investments. Symmetrical Advisory specializes in Mergers & Acquisitions. Our Sell-Side advisors help privately-held middle market business owners sell their companies and convert their Equity into Liquidity while minimizing their liabilities. Our transactions are usually of a highly personal nature, requiring absolute confidentiality and the highest level of business ethics, as our clients typically have extensive worries about anyone learning of their interest in divestiture. We develop long-term relationships with our clients and act as their M&A Advisor. We help clients find the right solution that optimizes their desires, then we provide a turn-key service to get them from where they are to where they want to go. Symmetrical Investments supports change of ownership situations where some or all of the current owners of a company are seeking to go in a new direction. Opportunities are less determined by the industry and more by the people. Strategies and structure should be agreed upon in advance of a transaction, so all parties are equally incentivized in moving forward. Symmetrical was founded upon a desire for things to be square or "symmetrical" and the premise that a handshake can still be as good as a definitive agreement. Symmetrical is comprised of a group of partners who invest their own capital into privately-held businesses and drive value in lower middle market companies.
