Our center offers a safe, convenient, high quality alternative to inpatient hospitalization. Fully licensed by both the State of Florida and the Federal Medicare program, The Surgery Center serves Highlands and adjacent counties. Our center provides a cost effective and convenient environment for patients who need surgery but do not require a prolonged center admission. Patients who choose to have surgery in an ambulatory setting arrive on the day of the procedure, have their surgery in a fully-equipped operating room, spend an appropriate amount of time under the care of a professional, experienced nursing staff and then return to the comfort of their own home to complete the recovery process.
