THE SUN TAVERN IN BETHNAL GREEN WAS ORIGINALLY ESTABLISHED IN 1851, RE-OPENED IN SEPTEMBER 2014. The Sun Tavern will be offering punch cocktails & classic mixed drinks, with a selection of Irish Whiskey, Poitin & Fine Ales from some of London finest hand picked Micro breweries. MIXED DRINKS The Sun Tavern offers a menu of Classic hand crafted mixed drinks accompanied a selection of sharing punches, with recipes dating back to the 18th Century. FINE ALES The Sun Tavern have a hand picked selection of keg and bottled fine ale, lager & Beer. Our ‘Local Hero’ fine ales, are sourced from microbreweries within a few mile radius of Bethnal Green. POITIN & WHISKEY The Sun Tavern offers a large selection of Irish whiskies and Poitin. Poitin is a traditional irish distilled beverage with a long history of being produced as type of moonshine.
