Founded in 1980, ACCEL is a nonprofit special education program for individuals with special needs, ages 5-22 and adults ages 18 and over. ACCEL provides innovative, individualized and comprehensive education, life skills, behavioral and transition services to students with a wide range of abilities and challenges including autism, intellectual disabilities, learning disorders, and emotional, physical and health impairments. ACCEL School Programs consist of two campuses, as well as satellite classrooms on public school district campuses. These programs provide evidenced based practices in applied behavior analysis, structured teaching, as well as speech, occupational, and physical therapy services with assistive technology integrated into the classroom programs. A functional life skills curriculum focusing on dignity, independence, and community skills for all students is a primary focus. The Gifford school is a private, nonprofit coeducational day school providing specialized educational and clinical programs for students who face a variety of learning, behavioral and/or emotional challenges. Gifford serves over 100 students ranging from fourth grade through high school. Students come from over 60 cities and towns throughout Massachusetts. Guided by a devoted staff of educators and clinicians, in partnership with the students' families, The Gifford School strives to help students achieve their full potential, both academically and socially. Gifford is licensed as an approved program by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The Virginia Institute of Autism is dedicated to helping people overcome the challenges of autism through innovative, evidence-based programs in education, outreach, and adult services. Our programs and services are built around the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and employ professionals in the fields of behavior analysis, childhood special education, speech-language therapy, clinical psychology, and occupational and physical therapies.
