Established in 1983, The Structural Engineers Ltd. (SEL) has grown from a proprietary civil engineering firm into one of Bangladesh’s most respected private limited companies in the construction and real estate sector. Founded by Engr. Md. Abdul Awal, a BUET graduate (Class of 1977), SEL was incorporated as a private limited company in 1987 and has since expanded its technical capacity by onboarding professionals from diverse engineering disciplines. With a legacy spanning over four decades, SEL has delivered over 230 successful projects, including buildings, bridges, food godowns, cyclone shelters, substations, and more. In 1995, the company entered the Real Estate sector, and today, it boasts 35 ongoing apartment and commercial projects across Dhaka, Savar, Cumilla, Chattogram, and Khulna.
