The Spruce Foundation redefines philanthropy and cultivates the next generation of philanthropists through community giving and grant-making in support of Philadelphia’s youth. The Spruce Foundation identifies, promotes and awards grants to emerging nonprofits in Philadelphia providing critical services supporting and elevating the city’s youth. After conducting a rigorous evaluation and selection process, Spruce partners with four nonprofits each year in each of the following program areas: Education, LGBTQ, Health & Wellness, and the Arts. To date, through grassroots fundraising, Spruce has awarded over $100,000 to local nonprofits.
