The Sounding Board Charity Information

Our mission is to provide 16-24 year olds across the UK with the skills and tools they need to build their own businesses and to tackle youth unemployment and boost the UK economy. We do this by offering FREE 1-3 year mentoring programmes to help young people get their businesses off the ground. With the pressures we are all facing due to the ongoing pandemic never has it been more important to provide a route for young people to earn money and to thrive - entering into the business world can be a challenging, daunting and lonely experience but with the help of The Sounding Board, our experienced mentors can provide guidance, education and support to help young people get off the ground. If you are aged 16-24 with a viable business idea or a business you have started within the last 6 months and wish to apply please complete our application form here. We only have a certain number of places we can offer so priority is given to those that will benefit the most from our programme for example those unemployed, on low income. Each application is considered in the next board meeting after the application is received.
