The Soap Co. Information

The Soap Co. is a new luxury soap brand and a social enterprise that employs people who are blind or otherwise disabled or disadvantaged. Launched in September 2015 all our products are made in the UK, with traditional bar soaps hand made in the Lake District, supporting more than 10 people, and our hand washes and hand lotions made in London and supporting more than 80 people. All our profits go back into the business to create more jobs. We believe that our products should be good and do good, and alongside our social mission we produce products in the most sustainable way possible. We never test on animals and all our products are made with natural extracts, added vitamins and are colour and paraben free. We strive to minimise our impact on the environment, producing packaging that is recyclable and compostable. Our bottles are made from 25% recycled milk bottles, and are fully recyclable themselves, and our bar soaps are packaged in compostable bio-film, and 100% recycled paper. We work with a range of businesses including corporates, restaurants and hotels, supplying quality products with a proven social impact. Working with The Soap Co. businesses contribute to create more jobs for blind or otherwise disabled people and enhance their social and environmental impact.
