PLB Rentals, LLC is a company founded in 2003 with the intent of making emergency location equipment available to the general public. It is our goal to help save lives and to minimize the search time and difficulty in locating someone lost or injured by giving the outdoor adventurer a simple and affordable means of getting help if they need it. Although the company is based in Washington State, we provide our service to all states within the US including Alaska and Hawaii. PLBs may be used anywhere on earth. We provide the Personal Locator Beacons on a rental basis, taking reservations on-line. We then ship the unit, with instructions, to the user, and maintain the emergency information needed for the search and rescue teams until the unit is returned. We help to identify potential false alarms, avoiding costly search efforts in conjunction with NOAA and the search teams.
