The Platform Information

The Platform is a commentary site hosting alternative and unique views from a variety of writers on current affairs, culture and beyond. The Platform originated in January 2010 around a central theme, “Britain 10 Years On". This pilot project was designed to coincide with the completion of the first decade of the 21st century. In doing so, it developed a vision-setting structure establishing a proactive approach to debate. The current site, launched in June 2011, builds on this proactive beginning and presents current affairs and cultural commentary from a diverse spectra of writers, commenting on events as they happen.
