The Perri Institute for Mind and Body is community for teachers and students of yoga. Together, we cultivate sustainable movement practices and mind/body wellness. Our research and education takes places in the arts and sciences. www.perriinstitute.com Our Manhattan campus is located at Gibney Dance Center @ 280 Broadway, NYC (entrance at 53 Chambers St) Our Founder/Director, TaraMarie Perri, is a scholar-artist, dance and business professional with an MFA who is on Faculty at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She has more than 17 years of experience teaching in higher education. She participates in ongoing research and collaboration with colleagues in related fields. Our teaching community is comprised of exceptional professionals in dance and other arts fields who are dedicated to the profession of teaching and the pursuits of ongoing study. They also perform in and create some of the most cutting edge dance and performance work around the world. Their classes are inspired and informed. Our students come from all walks of life. All levels of experience and all ages come to our classes with diverse interests and needs. We use our shared interest about yoga and mind-body studies as our common meeting ground.
