The Peregrine Fund works to conserve birds of prey in nature worldwide. We work towards our mission through captive breeding, research, habitat conservation and education. The Peregrine Fund was founded in 1970 by Tom Cade at Cornell University. In 1984 TPF moved to Boise, ID and in 1993 the Velma Morrison Interpretive Center was opened to the public. Currently, TPF is breeding two species for release: Aplomado Falcons and California Condors.
