The Parks Group Inc Information

The Parks Group, Inc. was founded in 1994 by Lana Parks in Arlington. The general agency was founded with the firm belief and commitment that The Parks Group, Inc. could bring a new standard of service and value to retail agents in the State of Texas. Prior to the formation of the general agency, Ms. Parks was an Assistant Vice President of The Gainsco Companies where she was responsible for the national marketing operations. Currently, Ms. Parks serves on the National Association of Surplus Lines Office (NAPSLO) Board of Directors. Additionally, she is the Co-Chair of the NAPSLO Legislative Committee where she has served for the past seven years. Ms. Parks was appointed by the Texas Insurance Commissioner to serve a three year term on the Board of Directors of the Surplus Lines Stamping Office of Texas, where she served as Chairman in 2012. Ms. Parks is past President of the Texas Surplus Lines Association, has served on the Board of Governors of the CPCU Society, and past President of The Fort Worth Chapter of CPCU Society. She is also a member of the Federation of Insurance Women of Texas and the Independent Insurance Agents of Tarrant County and Dallas. In 2004, The Parks Group, Inc. expanded operations to continuing serving agents in Central and South Texas with the opening of the Austin Office.
