The Parallel Project is a project questioning the living together of local and non-local students in CUHK. It has been initiated by a group of international and local students who want to raise awareness that oftentimes local and non-local students don’t interact much on campus and live in “parallel societies”. The group identified that one of the major reasons contributing to parallel societies on campus is that student society activities are segregated, i.e. local and non-local student don’t join the same activities.
