The Paget Foundation Information

The Paget Foundation, a national voluntary health agency founded in 1978, is the premier resource for information on Paget's disease of bone. Paget's disease is the second most prevalent bone disease after osteoporosis. The Foundation also provides information on other bone-related conditions including primary hyperparathyroidism, fibrous dysplasia and the rare disease osteopetrosis. Information available on this website and in print includes publications on all of the above disorders and physician referral lists for Paget's disease of bone, primary hyperparathyroidism, fibrous dysplasia and osteopetrosis. Through its membership in the National Coalition for Osteoporosis and Related Bone Diseases the Foundation works with its Coalition colleague voluntary health agencies: The National Osteoporosis Foundation and The Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation and the Coalition professional medical societies: the American Society for Bone and Mineral research and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons to advocate for expanded research on all bone-related conditions.
