Founded in 2021, The Optic is Brown University's first dedicated photography magazine. Created and run by students, The Optic is an online-based publication open to all who attend Brown and RISD. We serve to uplift and recognize the extraordinary talent of photographers at the university. We welcome all types of photographers: beginners, avid phone shooters, and experienced artists.
