At The Collective, we’re reimagining what it means to live well, together.
As the original co-living community in London, we pioneered a new way of living that blends the privacy of your own studio with the richness of shared spaces, curated experiences and a vibrant, diverse community. Our approach brings people together through thoughtful design, inspiring events and a mindset rooted in collaboration and connection.
What began as a bold vision for high-quality, flexible living has grown into an entirely new way of life. A place where comfort meets possibility, and where people can surround themselves with others who want to explore, create, learn and thrive.
This is modern living with purpose. This is The Collective.
IMPACT Collective is an award-winning event and venue management firm based at The District Wharf in Washington, DC.
We plan and manage corporate events, nonprofit events, conferences, concerts, and private celebrations, along with full-service weddings and multicultural events. Our work spans Washington DC, Northern Virginia, Maryland, and destinations worldwide.
Our foundation is built on two core strengths: event management and venue management. This allows us to oversee both the experience and the logistics, ensuring every event is organized, well-paced, and easy for guests to be part of.
From multi-day celebrations to large-scale productions, we focus on structure, communication, and execution. This includes timelines, vendor coordination, guest flow, and overall experience from start to finish.
In addition to planning, we support event marketing, incentive trips, international events, and brand design, giving our clients a single, coordinated approach across multiple touchpoints.
Since 2009, IMPACT Collective has received multiple industry awards and more than 925 five-star reviews. We are currently ranked #1 on WeddingWire and The Knot in the DC Metropolitan Area and #10 on WeddingPro in the United States.
We also believe events can create meaningful impact beyond the experience itself. Through partnerships with Meant 2 Live Foundation and Splendor Music, we have helped support initiatives that have reached more than 3,000 disadvantaged youth worldwide.
At our core, we approach every event the same way: with clarity, consistency, and a focus on making the experience feel seamless for both our clients and their guests.

Currently SYNERGY COLLECTIVE is collaborating with director Douglas Rintoul (Transport Theatre) and composer Sebastiano Dessanay on a short film project entitled 'The Drop'.
In June 2009 the 'Synergy' was included in the 'RePlace' exhibition in London, curated by [noplaceprojects*].
Stysiak and Kotkiewicz pursue further collaboration and currently are developing their new film project under the name ‘Synergy Collective’.
"We aim to create a communicative, thoughtful and visually powerful moving image works through galvanising the experience of all members of the ‘Synergy Collective’; bringing our different individual artistic skills from the fields of cinematography, writing and new media art. We want to be an open group and consider collaboration with other creative individuals such as directors, actors and sonic artists.
We are interested in exploring borderline sites and areas, and terms such as fate and accident, temporary and random events, ‘grey zone’, migration, functions of objects, becoming an object, and useful vs. useless.
Our goal is to explore and expand the moving image’s vocabulary. We aim not only to experiment with visual clichés and innovations but also to play around with narratives and storytelling."
