Before founding The New Rules, John held executive marketing positions in both established and startup companies including New Jersey Online, the first local online service of Advance Publications; get2net, MarketSource Corporation and MaMaMedia, a children's media company. John holds a dual-track degree in Marketing Communications & Broadcast Production from Marist College. John is active in Internet, e-business, Sales & Marketing and Venture groups, participating in such organizations as the New York New Media Association, the World Wide Web Artists Consortium, the Fast Company "Company of Friends", the MIT Enterprise Forum, the Interactive Advertising Bureau, the Let's Talk Business Network and the New Jersey Technology Council.
