The 'MPOWER Project is a NYC-based nonprofit influence and innovation lab working at the intersection of technology, narrative development, and human resilience. Our methodology combines brand strategy and audience development with behavioral and social science and computational narrative intelligence to understand why and how harmful narratives resonate, identify conditions of susceptibility, and design and test interventions that strengthen resilience. Originally developed to counter violent extremism, today, we work across various online harms and issue topics with government, academic, and civil society partners internationally.
