We call what we do innovation design – with an emphasis on design. This isn’t some abstract principle we unfurl above the work. We know that organizations don’t become more innovative by nodding along to keynote speakers or putting up posters in the lunchroom. They get there by enthusiastically exploring half-baked ideas, putting possible solutions to the test, learning from what works – and what doesn’t – and embracing the idea that things can sometimes look wrong on the way to becoming right.
