The Menu Manager is a new concept in meal preparation that eliminates menu planning, shopping, preparation and the messy cleanup by moving the meal assembly process out of your kitchen and into our dinner design studio. You will view a monthly menu online at www.themenumanager.net and select your dinners from a menu including entrees such as Peach Pork Roast and Summery Salmon. Then register to attend a meal assembly session at The Menu Manager dinner design studio. When it is time for your session, bring baskets or coolers to The Menu Manager dinner design studio, where our knowledgeable and very friendly staff explain the process. At the kitchen, you rotate through recipe stations, scooping freshly cut and prepped raw ingredients into provided baking pans or gallon sized zip-top bags. Then you'll label each entree with cooking instructions. After assembling the dinners, take the uncooked meals home and freeze them. The whole process takes under two hours and costs less than $3.00 per serving. We recommend choosing three meals each week to defrost (in your refrigerator - never on the counter) and cook at your convince. Can I split my meals into smaller portions? Some Menu Manager guests with smaller families prefer to divide each meal into two. We strive to make the session as easy as possible, so we provide additional baggies (complimentary) or extra aluminum pans ($1.00 each). Do The Menu Manager Meals come with side dishes? Some of our yummy meals come with rice, pasta, potatoes, etc. For example, our Chicken Parmesan comes with linguine. However, The Menu Manager is trying to provide our families with the main entree so that you can personalize it with your own side (your famous garlic bread, a salad, fresh green beans, etc). This allows us to keep our prices down. What is your cancellation policy? If you cannot attend your session, we will reschedule you for another time or will assemble your entrees for a minimal charge. Can I bring my children to a session? We love children and know that many of our customers have children. However, due to health code restrictions, children under the age of 12 cannot attend a session. Can I get my entrees to go? Yes, you can! You can register online or call for a pick-up order. If you need us to leave out the garlic, we will! For "to go" entrees the cost is 12 meals - $235.00 and 6 meals - $129.00. Just let us know when you can come by and pick up your entrees. What forms of payment do you accept? We accept checks and cash. Do I have to prepare12 entrees? Purchasing 12 entrees at a time is the most economical choice, but you can certainly opt for the 6-meal. Don't forget, we also have pre-assembled entrees already frozen and ready to purchase. Just pop in and see what we have or check online under "What's In The Freezer." What do I need to bring with me to a session? Not much - we make this as easy as possible for you. We provide all the pans and bags needed for your entrees, plus we offer appetizers and drinks (non-alcoholic beverages). All you need to do is bring a cooler or laundry basket to tote your completed entrees home. How much time does The Menu Manager save me each month? The Menu Manager saves 20 to 30 hours each month. We eliminate the hours you would spend trying to figure out what to cook (menu planning), grocery shopping, reading recipes and preparing ingredients, not to mention cleaning up. You also get to enjoy 1-1/2 to 2 hours of fun and fellowship each month! What is the best way to defrost my entrees? The proper way to defrost any frozen food is to store it in your refrigerator for 24 - 48 hours so it can thoroughly defrost. Defrosting food by leaving it on the kitchen counter at room temperature saves time, however, it also allows for bacteria and spoilage, so we do not recommend this method. Can I split my meals with a friend? Yes. We have set aside the third Thursday of the month to split your meals with a friend for free. We look forward to seeing you both there; just inform us of both guests at registration so we can ensure that space is available.
