Our focus is to empower your Mind, Body & Spirit through the practice of Shotokan Karate-Do. Our traditional teaching styles are based around Bushidō & Zen. The Martial Way (Budō) has industry accreditation, under ISO 17024, which is provided by the National Martial Arts Instructors Accreditation Scheme (administered by the Martial Arts Industry Association - MAIA). This is provided by standalone courses delivered by the MAIA in conjunction with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). We are also affiliated with the Japan Karate Association World Federation of Australia (JKA/WF Australia) which is a member of the Japan Karate Association (JKA). The JKA is by far the largest Karate organisation in the world.
