The Maffe Foundation Information

The Maffe Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides children in need of financial and motivational assistance the opportunity and ability to reach their greatest potential. The programs the foundation supports empower and develop the character, confidence and passion in children through educational and social programs. Founded in 2005 by Jay Maffe and his family, the Maffe Foundation was originally established in memory of John Maffe Sr., whose existence encompasses the foundation's mission. Through John's active involvement in the lives of his grandchildren, he indicated his strong desire to help shape their growth and development, influence their decisions and teach them the lessons of life. And, while all kids make mistakes or go through hard times, John felt that his grandchildren should be provided a foundation; a support system to steer them in the right direction and lead them on the path to success. John died before he was able to see Jay's youngest son, Jaden, grow to become a contributing member of his community. It is through the mission of their Foundation that the Maffe's wish to encourage Jaden to live by his grandfather's indelible principles and instill in him the importance of what it means to experience life's defining moments of personal achievement and self-discovery. The Maffe's work hard to increase the number of children affected by their contributions.
