The M2M Project Information

The M2M Project (Minor to Major) is a nonprofit that helps small, skilled-trade contractors from historically excluded communities in New York City build financially strong, growth-ready businesses — economic anchors for their families and communities. Our model has two parts. Financial Operating Systems (Nuts & Bolts, Break Fix, Scaffold) builds the financial infrastructure inside a contractor's business — clean books, job costing, systems that hold up under real growth. Network Connections builds the relationships outside it — introductions to mission-based lenders and to buyers with real contracts to award. We work with electricians, HVAC and mechanical contractors, masons, carpenters, painters, general contractors, and more across the five boroughs and tri-state area — the family-run businesses that build our neighborhoods, and too often get stopped by lack of access to financial operating systems and relationships rather than skill. The M2M Project is recognized as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
